Vermont’s Only Floating Bridge

Why are we at Vermont’s Only Floating Bridge!?!?
Because it’s cool, that’s why!

A Bridge That Floats!?!

It may not be a marvel of engineering, but it’s still pretty neat to drive across something that can technically sink.

The timing is just right as the fog rolling across the lake creates a haunting atmosphere as we explore something from an older time.

While this is a recent reconstruction, and eighth version of the original bridge, it feels timeless.

The original bridge was constructed in 1820 and this latest rendition in 2015, but modeled after the original style.

Before we drive off, here are a few more shots to capture the atmosphere.
