Today we are in the Poconos Mountains, ready to jump out of a small airplane, and plunge between 10,000 to 13,500 feet at roughly 120 mph toward the earth’s surface below.
Who would jump out of a perfectly good airplane? People like us looking for the thrill of a lifetime!!!! We have been waiting for this moment for years, but have just never found the right opportunity to complete it. This trip proves to be a perfect time.
We’ve been preparing for the last week to finally have the opportunity to go skydiving. Unfortunately, the weather has not been too friendly to us and has prevented us from going up earlier.
Today the forecast looks great, giving us a window to go skydiving.
Upon arrival at Sky’s The LImit Skydiving Center we are escorted into a small room where we watch a short safety video basically explaining that we are signing away ALL of our rights while skydiving.
We then wait a few minutes more for our tandem jumpers to prepare our harnesses and the ride up.
Up, Up and Away!
Before we know it, its time to go!
We say goodbye to the earth below our feet and declare our love for each other one last time before boarding the tiny plane.
Luckily, we have the whole experience captured on video!
They gave us individual videos, so we edited our own sweet video!
