“The Happiest Place on Earth” – Epcot
Going to Disney World is one of the most common childhood dreams. Both of us have been as children, but were too young to remember, so we’re excited for this opportunity to live out childhood dreams!
We plan to spend 4 days in 4 parks, so we put our sneakers on and prepare for 10 hour days in the parks!
Bioluminescent Kayaking
There’s no better way to enjoy a sunset than in a kayak at the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge.
Not only do you get to enjoy the sunset, you also get the opportunity to travel down the river after nightfall and see the comb jellies, as well as the plankton, light up with each stroke of the paddle.
Key West: Close to Perfect – Far From Normal
What’s an all-American road trip without traveling to the southernmost city in the USA, Key West!!
There isn’t much on our agenda other than eating key lime pie and visiting the lowest point in the US. This should be a nice relaxing day!

Scuba Diving: Key Largo, Florida
Located within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary is the 3rd largest living coral reef in the world!
Today we’ve scheduled a two tank afternoon dive with Keys Diver & Snorkel tour! We initially planned to dive the Christ of the Abyss, but after talking to the dive shop decided to dive Molasses Reef.
Airboat Cruisin’ at Wooten’s
Alligators!!! Crocodiles!!!! Tigers!!!! Oh my!!!!
Today we’re at Wooten’s Everglade Airboat Tours for quite an exciting adventure! We are excited to hop on an airboat and cruise the Everglades, anxiously searching for alligators.
#1 Beach USA: Siesta Beach
Located in the lower portion of Florida lies a gem worth visiting. The #1 Beach in the USA: SIESTA BEACH!
It was too dark to see the beach last night when we got in, so we are back today to enjoy its beauty!
On The Road: Day 41 – Sunshine Skyway Bridge
Mile: 8,027
Driving through Florida, and passing near Tampa, we have to take the opportunity to cross the Sunshine Skyway Bridge!
Carrying around 50,500 vehicles daily, this bridge is considered the “flag bridge” of Florida. Also, the Travel Channel rated the Sunshine Skyway number 3 in its special on the “Top 10 Bridges” in the World!

Visiting Kali’s Grandma
The last time Kali visited her grandma down in Florida was over 10 years ago while she was in Technical School for the military.
We’re pretty excited for the opportunity to stop in and visit with Kali’s grandma and her Uncle David, who is also in the local area!
