Driving through Florida, and passing near Tampa, we have to take the opportunity to cross the Sunshine Skyway Bridge!
Carrying around 50,500 vehicles daily, this bridge is considered the “flag bridge” of Florida. Also, the Travel Channel rated the Sunshine Skyway number 3 in its special on the “Top 10 Bridges” in the World!

Arizona has been great, but it’s time to hit the road and head to New Mexico! We imagine this drive to be pretty desolate and flat, so hopefully we can hit that cruise control and cover some serious miles!
This morning we’re packing in the campsite at Zion and hitting the road for Arches National Park!
It’s about a 340 mile, 5 1/2 hour drive!

We’re off to Zion!!
While it’s been nice living in luxury the past few days, it’s time to pack our stuff, leave Vegas, and hit the road toward Zion National Park.
It’s early when we leave Potwisha Campground in Sequoia National Park.
Our destination this evening is Death Valley.
We leave the forest and head across seemingly barren terrain as the sun peaks from behind the desert horizon.
Yosemite here we come!!
Our drive starts with an early departure from Tommy’s Aunt’s house.
