Nestled in the hills of Vermont is a small congregation… not of people, but of dogs. Hang with us as we explore this fun and interesting dog dedicated chapel!
The Grounds
The grounds of the site are fairly large, giving ample space for dogs to run, walk, and play.
Amusing artifacts adorn the area and bring comfort to these fury four legged companions.

Inside the chapel
You can’t tell me this isn’t adorable!
Inside is quite the spectacle. But first! the guest book 🙂
Lining the walls of this chapel are messages of love, hope, and mourning for pets here and gone.
How many message, you ask? Well… it’s a lot.
It’s astonishing to see just how many people have come from all over for the sake of their dog!
The chapel was conceived by a man after experiencing death for 5 minutes in a hospital. An event which has had a profound impact on his life.
Art is displayed in the image of the owners dog, who’s collar adorns the wall.
This guy even makes his own stained glass windows! Dog owners know that the struggle is real!
perhaps they depicts a dog’s dreams and wishes.
If interested, here’s the man’s mission statement — detailing his experience with death and the motivation for building this doggie paradise.
Pictures, posters, trinkets are all for sale in the gift shop next door!
Perhaps you can use one of these?
