Visiting Friends: A Thing Called Meow Wolf

Today we’re spending time with some (somewhat) recently made friends.

Meet ‘n Greet

Greg and Demante are the only must see attractions for us in this city, which is best known for its TV series about the manufacturing and distribution of Meth! (any Breaking Bad fans out there?)
Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Rolling into town, we meet up with Greg and Ruby.

Greg gives us the full tour of his lavish living arrangements, as well as his newly acquired deluxe pickup truck! 💰🍸😎

The four of us spend the evening at Nob Hill for dinner, followed by shakes at Owl Cafe…

Yeah, that’s right; we got the Green Chilies shake!
When in Rome (…New Mexico)!

After our fill, we decide that tonight it’s the Air Force Inn for us!

Meow Wolf?

In the morning, Greg plans to take us to one of the hippest places in all of New Mexico… Meow Wolf!

We’re not really sure how to describe this place… and neither can anyone else we talk to…

So we’ll just have to let the pictures speak for themselves.

One thing we do know… it’s a pretty popular place to be!

Visited by only the coolest… 😎

Meow Wolf!

I guess you can think of this like a roller coaster ride… so buckle up!!

The bones of this dinosaur play music!!! 🎼

Letters around the house tell a story and immerse you into a number of diverse, imaginative dimensions.

We recommend you don’t try entering your refrigerator at home…

Not going to explain this one…

Looking closely into the toilet, (Only here would you do such a thing) is a man falling endlessly into the abyss.

Mad scientists are lurking everywhere!!!

There is a stage for regularly scheduled live music…

Welcome aboard the treehouse ship!!!

This is their second time here, so they walk through pretty quickly….

We cannot get enough of what each room has to offer!

The things they put on walls?!?!?!?

We found Greg’s bowling ball!!…

Hopefully Tommy can find some of our missing socks!!

Perhaps the best way to describe this place, is that it’s like taking Acid… but having never actually done that ourselves, we can’t say for sure.

Regardless, we had a pretty good time!

Dinner Or Disaster?

Disaster of course!!

Well, we’re technically on our way to dinner… when disaster strikes!!

Luckily it’s not our van… Sorry Ruby!… (it’s her car).

This does put a damper in our dinner plans…
Fortunately, Greg is an expert tire changer!

…and we’re expert stander-arounders!!

With the temporary spare on, we’re able to make it to dinner.

Okay, dinner for real this time!

Greg takes us to one of his favorite restaurants in the area.

Tesuque Village Market: This place is known for its funky vibe and eclectic menu, centered on New Mexican fare!

Thanks Greg, Demante, and Ruby for showing us around and giving us a good time!

We have no Meow Wolf… but If you’re ever in our area, look us up and we’ll return the favor!
